Om is a sound uttered day in and day out in all parts of the world by those recognizing the importance of its vibrational force. Handed down from the Himalayan sages, Om is considered to be the universe's primal sound vibration. According to traditional teachings, OM was the original mantra of Judaism, Christianity and Islam as its sound is the origin of the familiar affirmations "amen" and "alm" of the Torah, Bible and the Koran.
